I eat dead people. It's rude for the family, but I think it's less rude than killing someone.

Yeah, well, society is built based on a human vision and that's all it matters, even if there are non-humans around them.

As I'm not human, I think I can't really fit on what society says. Plus, I do have to eat somehow.

It's only bad because society says so. You said yourself that you can't fit into what they want, so why try?

There is a difference between taking a life and eating the dead, who no longer have one.

And if I can't fit, there are still ways that will allow co-existence. If both sides try.

No, they won't. Humans don't like to realize that something isn't human - they have a need to force their ideals and they humanize everything; if it doesn't fit that, then they reject it.

But they exist, regardless. And we exist regardless. I think it's better to find a compromise than just existing to survive, either you are human or not.

I'm in the both amazing and yet unfair position of being able to see and understand both sides. I was born human, and I was one until I turned 19.

being part of both worlds - not just on the sidelines - has allowed me to learn a couple of things.

It doesn't. But it's a complicated position where everyone has to deal - not just us, not just them.

And I'm not. I'm no longer registered, so I'm not allowed those bodies.

Morgues, cemeteries. I've an arrangement with someone as well. People die everyday, it's not difficult to find them.

And you, Jack? Where are you getting yours? [ even if he said before "it was for a friend", he spoke as if he knows this situation. Plus, he separated himself from humans when talking about them ]

[Well, the only similarity being that he knows a guy. Morgues could be doable but they've been dead a little too long for his liking, and cemeteries? Old meat is bad meat as far as he's concerned. He needs the blood still pumping.

Murder is the easiest, but it's an option he's trying to cut down on.]

I'm fixing it. [ in a way ] Me and the ambassadors are trying to create a bill to allow imPorts like us to have access to bodies without registration. In other words, to acquire bodies legally.

imPorts like us? I can't imagine there's many.

There was a time there were 4 ghouls and 3 other beings that consumed humans, here at once. There are also vampires and similar creatures.

I don't plan on this bill to only include imPorts like us, but I am doing it mostly for my sister and myself, I admit.

I guess we get all sorts. Makes sense not to force them all into registering.
Weren't you worried the Government would come for you if you unregistered?

I was. But that changed.

If they claim registration is an option, then it'd look really bad on them if they went after people who would rather not register. It is a touchy subject to a lot of imPorts and I don't think they'd like to know the government wants to force some imports to register.
